It is amazing how things can change so quickly. We must appreciate what we have or had and still keep our minds focussed on what could be ahead of us. There is still excitement around if we allow it to emerge. I'm sorry you lost two loving husbands, but it's nice to know that you enjoyed their love and dreams while they were with you. For as long as you are blessed with the breath of life, you have no excuse for not taking advantage of that blessing. Live life as fully as you are able to. Never short change yourself by retreating into a shell afraid of being hurt by loss. If you build wonderful memories they will keep you company no matter who is physically around you. You can be lonely in a room full of people or you can be entertained with no one else in the room but you and your memories.

Geez! I haven't felt this 'special' about my writing in ..... well, never!! Thank you very much. I am actually working on a couple of books -- one is a continuing memoir and the other is a group of essays built around the theme of happiness is a choice. There is simply not enough time in the day.
At any rate, RG, your writings -- and your interview - are not only interesting, well-done and cause the reader to wait eagerly for whatever comes next , they are instructive in so many ways. I have learned some things from you.
AND you may call my writing 'stuff' or anything else you like! ann
