I remember being enthralled with the Timpani drum when I was in high school. You have a plethora of alliteration. If the reader reads this aloud as all poetry should be read, they will get the greatest value of this poem. There is so much more, but this is enough.

Hello and Happy Easter weekend to you! Thanks for offering the definition for both "nard" and "Kestrel" ~~ I knew neither. I've read several takes on this "Picture this" club entry and yours is as spiritual as I've seen! Especially poignant as I sit and read it on Good Friday. I was struck by the image of Mother Mary dancing with joy, upon learning her beloved son was not, as imagined, destroyed, but given new abundant life ~ for all of us to claim as our own, thanks to his sacrifice. Moving, well-penned, full of grace--

There is such a beautiful, spiritual feel and flow to your words. We often forget about Mary during this Easter season, she must be full of joy to see her son rise again. I like the image of Mary dancing across the cosmos, excellent use of words and poetic form.

This seemed a very difficult poem to write, but you aced it. I loved all of the word choices; they made the poem sophisticated as well as stylish. The artwork was fine and very appropriate to the writing. Great job!

This is a nicely metaphoric poem, for the potlatch, about the way we should respond to Holy Week and Easter. Mary constantly dances and rejoices with nature joining in.
