Fiction or not this is a never-ending story with a good ending. I would like to think others who read of it, blink, and consider where they are, have been and want to be, seriously... yours.

I feared for Maggie in the early part of your story. She was judgmental about her siblings' choices. Travelling the world and career ambition is not for everyone, and has draining pressures as Maggie and Tim belatedly discovered. Luckily not too late to save their personal situation. (You sure made the corporate world's existing horrors, especially for women, very obvious!)
You make a great case for country living and the nourishment of hard work while surrounded by a caring and helpful community.
Many people need a wake-up call to their work-life balance.

This story held my attention all the way through my reading. I found it very interesting as it resembled my life very vividly especially the part about travelling the world which didn't satisfy the heart and longing for more meaningful life which the story illustrates very well.

Isn't it strange how we think we want one thing but then our road shifts and its like a guardian angel takes control to get us on track. This story was full of description. You could easily see the path her dreams wanted to take her yet in the end fate won out. Maggie finds what she didn't know she was looking for.
