Well, many areas are NOT Covid-free. There are still new variants being discovered. It's not as bad as it once was. Your well-written poem describes how the pandemic affected you and yours at its height. Yes, prayer is always good. Line 10--apostrophe is incorrect.

We have had pandemics before and I dare say there will be another one in the future. Covid has damaged people's lives in so many ways, people have died, lost their jobs, been starving, it has caused divorce and damaged children self-esteem, caused depression and completely changed people's lives. Your poem reminds us what we have been through with some hope that it never happens again, love Dolly x

Thanks Dolly, you know I thought of all of those things when I decided to write about Covid. However with only one rhyme word, I feared it may get too long, because there's so much to say on the subject. So I kept the subject of how it affected our health, with one exception and that was to thank health care workers, in my authors notes.

I thought this was an excellent entry into the contest, for two reasons... It made a lot of sense and included both meter and rhyme. My only complaint is the size of the font, which would be more attractive if not in bold and perhaps a bit smaller. The colors and illustration are fine. Good luck in this contest.
