Ciao Marco.

as you know I'm a sci-fic nerd and space, the stars, the planets fascinate me .. comet Halley returns every 75/76 years so in 2062 it will be back.

I find that utterly amazing , the comet travels from Venus to beyond Neptune before it heads back. I won't be around to see it and I missed it in 1986.

My favourite line is perpetual traveler...that is such a cool way to describe a comet. I'm surprise no one gave this entry a six star review.

I depend on you to honor me with a six for my poems. The FS rating system is not perfect so I am OK with 5s, but don?t like to receive a 4!

Pleased you liked my frequent traveler status.

Your poem about comets fits the guidelines of this contest well. I had not looked at comets from that perspective before. The picture is interesting and a compliment to your writing. Well done.

Thank you Cecelia for your compliments on this contest entry. After the voting, check me out. My poetry is exclusively short poems, usually in the 5-7-5 syllable format.

Space is still as Startrek told it, the final frontier and maybe only the comets can comprehend it in full. You have exploited the features of the kuta form to good account in this four liner.

The sky has so much mystery. Then there are things that could be killers. The asteroids bigger than cities and buildings heading toward earth are enough to scare the daylights out of you. I wish they would keep those stories from the news media. If one hits, we will not live long enough to know what hit us. Thank you for your great post.

Thanks Carolyn for your commentary for my contest entry. In our ancient, ancient history, it may have been an asteroid that hit Earth and the ensuing catalyst killed the dinosaurs and other animals and life.

Im curious where the four lines start and end. It isn't clear. I get that rhyme and alliteration is not required so we see the travel of comets. Very clever.

Thanks for your critique for my contest entry. My poetry can be disjointed as you say. I do try to always build a story with my words and connect each line to each other. In this case, maybe space is like you say: no beginning or end to see.

Not disjointed at all. Your poem has depth and the essence of a haiku

Your contest entry is well=presented, Mystery Author.
I like the color scheme, the image, the descriptive word
choices, the same syllable count per line,
and the message. Yes, star light and space are
mysterious. Best wishes in the contest.
Respectfully, Jan
