Thank you. This story is true. It kind of irked me that the guy was looking at prospects while his wife was fighting cancer. I know her too, and like her. He deseved to be shot down for real. He got his when his wife got better and came home. She clipped his wings. I did not use his real name.

Your story is very interesting and fits the requirements for this contest. I can't imagine any man doing something like this, looking for prospects before his wife even passed away. Glad you had your cats for a reason to convince him you were not interested.

Thank you. I would have tossed him out anyway, cats or no cats. I know his wife and like her. I thought it was terrible what he was doing. If the two of them hadn't helped me so much I would have said a lot more than I did and not so nice. His name is not real in the story. I wouldn't take the chance that his wife might read it someday.
