Your words are wise, with a lot of empathy for others in many aspects of things they might be going through. Being an encouraging presence in someone's life can be so important.

Thanks so much Jenny. I scribbled it down while David was driving, for something to do on a long stretch. It?s hard to post with only an iPhone. Didn?t expect a win. Thank you for your vote! And also for your lovely review. Should be home tonight. About 2500 km.

Thank you so much. A lovely review, very encouraging! I was a teacher, but have had a fair bit to do with health as we fostered (long term) a severely disabled boy.

This is a lovely poem of encouragement. We do need to encourage and make sure that life goes on even after passing. But this past week has been many days of quietness after a tragedy in a nearby town. When there is a tragedy, it is rather difficult to find kindness toward the suspect. How can we find forgiveness?

You've skilfully spelt out the title. I like that. I don't know whether you could have fitted this into the poem, but what about talking through the person's faults/mistakes and giving them ideas of how they might handle the same thing next time? I'd say that could be encouraging too.

Being an acrostic is limiting lengthwise and every line has to support the title. Thanks however for your thoughts.
