This ghostly story is so intriguing and I truly enjoy the English history entwined within the story line and characters. You make it come alive and the reader wants to believe every word. Beautiful!

Well, as I expected, another flawlessly written chapter for your novel.
Just to keep folks on their toes, you should put something up with a few problems that can be gleefully seized upon while the reviewers say to themselves, "I knew it. I knew it. She's human like the rest of us, and there are boo-boos in her writing."
But . . . I doubt that'll ever happen. And worse, I usually miss the racey parts when I stop by. Oh, well . . . .

Well, as I expected, another flawlessly written chapter for your novel.
Just to keep folks on their toes, you should put something up with a few problems that can be gleefully seized upon while the reviewers say to themselves, "I knew it. I knew it. She's human like the rest of us, and there are boo-boos in her writing."

I think their plan will work. It looks like Miles' father's evil is about to be exposed, along with his solicitor. I can't wait to see how that affects events in the future.

Hi, Linda, my lovely friend, thank you so much for coming and reading this part. I love your review, it's always fun to read, and always gives me a smile, and a giggle. Miles won't find out just yet, but when he does... oh my word! Lol.
How are you? Let me know how things are going now. Graham and I are over the Covid now, just having a little difficulty with breathing, nothing serious, lol. I have a stronger inhaler at the moment, I might have to keep it. Other than that, the weather is improving, we are managing to get out and have some nice walks, and I just won BoM! What a lovely surprise to wake up to this morning. The last time I looked, Jay and I were level at six votes.

It opens up all sorts of conjecture as to the motives of all this and leaves open if they will be successful or not or whether Bessie and Margot can intervene on Meg's behalf. You did it all through the dialogue and kept up the personalities of everyone involved, so the story grows more intriguing and holds our attention. estory

Will she and Bessie be able to change the course of Miles's and Meg's lives? Bessie's got her hands on the information on Brandon and the lawyer's scheme to cheat Meg's father out of his money. If they can get that information to Miles. he'll know what's been going on. Then maybe he and Meg can live their lives as they had dreamed. Looking forward to the next chapter. judi

Well things are certainly getting interesting. You have a good handle on the past and time it is written in. I don't know if I would have thought of washing from a bowl of cold water even though I have such an item with candles and mirror in my house. Looking forward to chapter 19.
