- Why would the sheriff ask he that? If they 'pressed charges' they would've done so, with him? You mean pressing charges.

I feel like there should be a transition into the second scene, when Ali falls into the horse trough. In the preceding scene the men had left to go find the bull. Then you had a 5-aserisk scene change and without any explanation of the result of the bull problem, we find Cord is back and calling Ali stupid for getting near Jewel alone. This is a strong feeling I have without any suggestion for a solution. Accept or reject.
"I guess I caused too much trouble. [Closed quote needed.]
We'll need as men as possible. [Did you leave out "many"]
and scanned the work that needed to done. [Left out "be"]
I have a hunch you were quick to get this to post. You don't usually make mistakes over things like this.

A couple of them, the last two I had already corrected, actually right after it was posted. I will think about your suggestion. I was wondering about that, but really didn't have a lot to say. Only fixing dinner and getting the bull, but that doesn't really move the story along. I'll see what I can do. Thank you.

Thank you for the kind review. The story is finished, I could do a story a day. I already review a lot every day. If I did a chapter a day, I would never get anything else done because of reviewing even more to promote it. I know people who post twice a week, and they are high on the charts. I refuse to play that game. I'm #3 and only post once a week. I feel that says a lot, at least in my mind.

This is another great chapter. You moved your story along nicely. It was nice to see everyone supporting Ali for her brave deed. Adding the out-of control-bull, added excitement to the story.

It does seem that Alexandra really did cause a ruckus on her trip into town. The family was all ears to here her side of the story. It is amusing that Cord owes her an apology for calling her stupid when the horse was trying to protect her. Jorge is smart enough to know, his son doesn't need to hesitate about the apology.
