You've called attention to another job for mother--proofreader. I remember both my grandmothers, but no great-grandmothers. It's great if a child gets to know great-grandparents. Good work Bill. It was not perfect, but it was good enough to pass as government work. Even though it is not. My wife acts as both my editor and chief critic. Though she does a good job, I still manage to screw up quite often. Wives and moms, what would we be without them? Short answer, we would not be, because no man I know could bear to go through childbirth. I have seen a live birth or two, and there is no way I am going through that ever!

This is a really neat Mother's day poem that tells us a lot about your family and that all the Mother's mentioned were cherished. Your poem was delightfully rhymed up to the last two line stanza which I assume you deliberately didn't rhyme. You could have said "cherished all the time and it would rhymed. LOL
