We can never say anything positive about a man who would abuse his wife. Personally, I can't figure out why any man would try to do anything like is in this poem. Don't they all know that vengeance is sweet, and retribution will be taken. It's a dangerous life for any man who does this then falls asleep next to the one he has just abused.
Thanks for an eye-opening look into a world I have never ventured into and never will.
