Hi Debra,
First of all, I like the title... "Just Yolking Around". Good play on words!
I'm betting Meg's last name is Dumpty. Am I right??? Humpty Dumpty's sister?
This is a fun 8-8-5-5-8 limerick with a slight touch of naughty. I love a girl who isn't afraid to show off her legs.
Nicely penned!
Hugs,
Kimbob

Brilliant!

This was a great one to post
On a day that suits it the most;
You have a good grasp
On making us laugh,
So make your reward egg on toast!

If getting a laugh was her intent
No law would be broken or bent
But if too much was shown
Into jail she would be thrown
And away all laughter is sent.

Haha! This is a cheeky limerick you've written and I love it. The picture of "Meg, stuck in an egg" is perfect here. Always enjoy your poetry, as I know I will read something well thought out, nicely rhymed and well written. Have a great writing weekend!

Limericks are such fun! I saw Robyn's reminder but my muse is apparently on strike.

No worries, though!

I can still enjoy your eggciting little gem!

I wonder, was she recreating a Hungry Dumpty scenario?

Cute!

Absolutely love this Limerick in celebration of the Day. You have the limerick metre and rhyme written to perfection, and with just a wee bit of the leg flashing, I think this meets the form's requirements very nicely.

Much enjoyed. :)

Lol! Thanks for sharing the limerick for National Limerick Day! And since the cheeky chick had lovely long legs, I guess it was fine to show them off! Time for her to hatch.
