Debra,
Now, THAT is a TATER! hahahaha Wowzer. This was a fun little limerick, clicked! I enjoyed the fun of it and the poetic devices you still managed to insert. There was lots and lots of 'g', 't', and 's' alliteration going on in there!
You had a few other fun things going on, too. You made me smile. Thanks for that. Hugs-

Yeah, it must be quite disappointing to give birth to a potato... Better than an alien anyway.
This is hilarious. I've always been fond of limericks even though I wouldn't be able to write one myself.
What came first: the pic or the poem?
Anyway it's great. A lot of fun.
Thanks so much for making me smile with your craft. Quite necessary right now.

Comment from Gloria ....
Ha, very entertaining limerick here. That certainly is one giant potato, enough to feed a family of five for a month.
Excellent rhythm and rhyme here, and where did you find that absolutely perfect photograph?
Much enjoyed. :)

This limerick, Achoo, Achoo, Aaargh-choo!, has the general formatting and reminds the readers who may be allergic to giant potatoes to always wear steel-toed boots

Oh no! Lol. Where are you finding these bizarre pictures? And you are having some fun making light of the possibilities with limericks. I don't know if a tater that size would be edible. Lol.

Is that a giant spud? If one was going to have a roast, then the potatoes would feed the whole village! A beautifully written Limerick Debra, well done, blessings Roy

This SPUDS for you? Zowie. That's one huge potato! Look at you all full of limericks and sharing them with a smile! Love your title: I had NO idea where this was going! Hmmm. Baked? It'd need a lot of butter and sour cream! I'm getting hungry now...
Grin.
