This is a really cute little poem that I'm sure kids would enjoy. I don't get that part about Danny, though. Poor little guy who had a crack in his tooth and decided he didn't like eating honey and would go back to eating NUTS? I do not think he has thought that one through too well. hahahaha Thanks!

Very sweet and I like how it takes real animals, real behaviors and just ties them all together in a fun loving way. Obviously it is an imaginary scene, but it has roots in reality. Thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed reading this children's poem, I am very fond of this genre.
The rhymes work well here without feeling forced and they create a rhythm that is almost lyrical. The selected artwork is a perfect choice and adds an additional layer to your writing.

A good word teaching piece. Surely the quail should have been called Quentin if only to keep the alliterative pattern going. Or if Quentin is too posh, how about Queenie?
