It's so frustrating when that happens. One has original,creative and vivid dreams - but they disappear on waking. You have captured that well in your poem. Best wishes for your entry.

Goodnight, Down thar. Since it is 7am in N Carolina it would be... 11pm down under? Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite. An idiom said to children as we lay them to rest for the night.

I love a bit of stream of consciousness, floating from mind to fingers to screen with as little interference as possible from that pesky brain thingy. I enjoyed following along with your word montage while you set the route and pace for me :-).

I think memory can be recalled quite by an act of the will, but then again, most of my childhood, certainly don't react to an act of will, so no, I'm wroing.
