The soup,tureen is a great find fir a present from times when things meat a lot to an old fashioned gal. Could be worth money if they had it aoraused.

I loved your soup tureen poem. We grew up with Nana ladling soup into the biggest soup bowls that made the soup go cold and attracted the flies! I don't have them now, but I believe they are a real collector's item. Well done. K xx

This puente poem, The Perfect Gift, has the proper formatting and serves as a great example of the form. We read of when the soup tureen leaves the possession of someone who has no connection to it, to a couple who will start their lives together with it. Neat.

A wholehearted congratulations on your 1500th Milestone Post! Oh my word! (Excuse the pun)--this is amazing! I've read several Pentes now, and all have had a slightly different "slant", for sure. This one resonates with me as I enjoy "out of fashion" serving dishes such as soup tureens AND antiques! Very nicely presented!

I line this - 2 sides of the story, from opposite perspectives of seller and buyer. This feels like a metaphor for the relay of life - things being passed on. I very much enjoyed the read.
