The work highlights the flourishing flowers, fresh fruits, palatable cuisines, and the allures of the natural environment that come in the wake of summer.

Hello, Author.
Your tantalizing scents make me yearn for the busy season where there is life again.
You describe these scents so well. If I read this poem in winter, I could close my eyes and experience the joys of summer.

"Sublime Scents of Summer" is striking in its continued focus on summer as a exhilarating experience in aromas. And the example scents are unerringly chosen, things that any American can bring to mind quickly, from fresh-turned earth to "the scents of the surf and sand." There are a couple of missteps. "The sprinkler finally put out at last" implies either that we've been awaiting the sprinkler or that it has been turned off, like a light. This line could've been worded better. Line 6 should have, I think, "their tastes" rather than "taste," a singular which generalizes the flavors which are indeed so different.
