Wow, wow, how sad! I hope this isn't true for you, my friend! I only hope that this is a fictionalized account of how one might feel on a rainy day looking out through the window shades of life. I haven't heard from you in a few days and was starting to wonder how you are doing. I hope you are okay. Please, PM me if you need a shoulder to talk to.
Take good care of yourself, my friend!
Jesse

It's okay Jesse, this isn't me.... only marginally a while ago after a break-up. Yes, I was very sad then, but life always offers things to enjoy and time moves on.

Dear Poet, if this is autobiographical, I'm so sorry.
If you're a senior, have you
ever tried visiting a senior
center to make some friends
with other women? I hate to
hear of anyone being lonely.
Whether fictional/nonfiction, you've done a great write here.

Thank you for your review and your concern. I do live alone and am sometimes lonely since divorce, but I have good connections with the outside world and my friends, though few, are precious.

We've all been alone, and we can all relate to your heartfelt poem. Beautifully written and passionate. I enjoyed reading it. Good luck with the contest.
