That was a lovely poem, Janet, taking us on a journey through life's day. Your memories of Corwall is spot on, it never, ever changes. We go there at least three times a year, and my time-travel trilogy was based there for obvious reasons. You can go back in time without actually going back in time!! Lol. I enjoyed your poem, and the ending of how, by the grace of God, your marriage has been blessed with a long and loving life together. Well done and good luck in the contest. :) Sandra xx

This is a beautiful love poem, not only to your partner in life, but also to the natural world. In general your rhyme and meter are perfect, though I lost the flow a bit in the last two lines of stanza four.

This was a pleasure to read for several reasons - it is well written and flows nicely, using appealing imagery; it reminded me of my own memories of Cornwall; you set the scene in the first 3 stanzas then the last 3 covered your relationship using weather - it pleased me to know of your enduring love.
