I can not figure out how this one did not win. It was beautiful. I especially liked this paragraph:
We walk hand in hand into a glade dappled in gold and tan by shafts of light provided by God himself.
Oh yes, another number fifteen! Congratulations!

Simple like that :"I do!" But do you know what you signed up for? I guess depending on your luck:) could be the Jack pot or hell-eluja:) Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and the contest.

Love is a many splendor things.

Hello Tom, Ahhh. An old-fasioned love story. How nice and refreshing. I especially liked:
Assured, I kneel, ring in hand, and pop the question. You respond, "I will."
(And the rest is history.)
Well done. This story made me smile. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

a newbie needs more than luck. They need to establish a report with the old timers who know the ins and outs of what to write and they support each other.

What a sweet story you told in few words, Tom. I enjoyed
reading it. Your words were well thought out and created
great imagery. The image worked well, too. The dialogue
carried the story.
Respectfully, Jan

I really thought it could win compared to the other entrants. I simply do not have the following. Thanks for following me.

This seventy-five-word story, Being Lucky, has the proper word count and finds the speaker in the right place for the apt question and the best outcome.

Great. I read the others. I felt sure this would be #. Even as it was "Recognized" I have 2 votes.

Excellent entry for the 75 Word Story writing prompt contest. A romantic marriage proposal.
Paree or Paris?
It flows well with descriptive words that paint a clear picture...
Good luck in the contest.

My guess is that luck didn't have much to do with it. It looks like you asked at just the right time and in just the right place. The best answer you ever received to any question you ever asked. Am I right?

You set the stage well in this seventy-five word story. The payoff was worth it. Also, the picture you took complemented the work well. Thank you for sharing this here. Best wishes.
