Thanks Roy! Our son, wife and boys live next door on the farm, but my son had his fill of it when he was a kid growing up. And his first son has no interest, but Carter had the instinct of a babe and still has it.

Wow, just a great poem with a story behind it. What I noticed after looking at it for a bit is that there is no verb in it. Maybe you could somehow reword it to have the word "work" in it. Like "working hard to fulfill my dreams"

Thanks Terry! You seem to be the first one who caught that it was the title for the Kevin Costner movie. I originally named it The Field, which is pretty boring and I always try to make my title sound interesting, as long as it matches the poem.
