This is a scream, as a disastrous series of events makes a humorous treat for the reader. I can see it all happening - kids will be kids, and big brothers ... well, enough said. I love the way you all woke up when the adult movie was about to start, and best of all, how Father drove out with the speaker box still in the car.
(I've been in that fight for the front seat with kids in my car.)

Thanks so much Dolly. Great review. Yes, kids will be kids. Poor Dad - no wonder he was frazzled, and no wonder there weren?t too many outings. Lol.

I can remember the drive-ins so well, but I never went with my parents, dad worked weekends, and worked afternoon shift, but I can remember sometimes we sneak under a weakness in the fence, and we could sit in the area outside the canteen, a bit cold in winter, but it seems one can tolerate anything when young, beautifully written Wendy, I really enjoyed it, blessings Roy
