I am very impressed with this poem! To do the entire alphabet and have the couplets rhyme must have taken amazing thought and care! I love the story of the Titanic, in a morbid way, I guess, but just the lesson that no matter how big and wonderful things seem, there is always the possibility for things to go wrong. Good luck in the contest. I am voting for you.

Great job on this Abecdarian Poem, telling the story of the Titanic and the tragedy that it encountered. Great rhyming and very easy to read. You have chosen a good picture to illustrate.

You ran with the story very well. Imagine the pain before losing their lives in water that would make a walrus blush cold. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It was a terrible tragedy, that still fascinates people. Thank you for reading my poem. :)

This abecedarian poem, Ship of Dreams, follows the twenty-six letters of the alphabet and tells a quick story of the Titanic and its doomed voyage. Well done.

An excellent poem on the ill-fated Titanic. Apparently the captain was so proud of his ship he was heard to say that even God Himself could not sink it. That's throwing out a challenge! Very well written in a tough format. Congrats and good wishes.

Thank you for this thoughtful review. :)

This is a well-done poem where each sentence is a progression in the story. That isn't easy, apparently, as others I've read seemed to wander off topic to get in the letter. Best of luck in the contest.

Hello dear poet, what an
outstanding Abecdarian poem about the tragic maiden
voyage of the Titanic. When
my daughter and I watched
the Titanic movie with
Leonardo Dicaprio (don't
know if I spelled that right)
and Kate Winslet we wept
so much. I just can't watch
it again. You did a great
penning on the facts and the
sadness of the loss of so
many people. My very best
wishes for the contest. ~

The movie's end when Jack slips in the water made me cry. I'm very fascinated with the titanic and have been for years. Thank you for this amazing review. :)

You've done an excellent job with this post my friend, abecdarian are not easy posts to write, and you've done well. Yes, one of the great tragedies of the last century has been that event. Beautifully written, well done, blessings Roy

This is such a cool and unique take on the prompt. I absolutely love that you have chosen to tell a historical tale. No matter how much time passes the Titanic always facinates and the story is just heartbreaking

You chose a good picture of the RMS Titanic. The poem had to be a challenge. The only line that seemed at a different level than the rest of the poem was this one: "Daring to begin a new life, they felt glad." The word 'glad' bothers me some, but on the other hand, I can't make a better suggestion that would rhyme well with the previous line. It is just one of those small things that affect rhythm.
I feel it is still an excellent poem. Best wishes.
