Thank you for reading my story Scott. However as a newcomer here, it is requested that when you give a good or an average review that supposedly needs feedback, then you are supposed to specify the corrections that you see fit. This story was promoted once before and I was assisted by the top writers on this site to make it as good as I could since I wanted it to be a special tribute to my father. So please allow me the honor of your feedback instead of just saying that you see a lot of grammatical errors. Also there was something that I learned when I came on here that many of the old rules of writing has changed and I thought at first my college writing professor would have dropped dead of a heart attack before he would have given me a passing grade the way things are now a days. So I know you are new here, but that is the way I had to get use to doing it too. It's something we are asked to consider before giving a harsh review rating as so often they are more opinions than facts. I mean no offense in my message, but just would like to help you learn how things are done here on FS. With much kind respect my friend.

I enjoyed reading the story about your father's heroic life fighting in WWII. I like the part about the Japanese Kamikaze pilot. It shows the kindness of our sailors, your dad included. I'm sorry your father suffered head trauma and hearing loss.
It moved along nicely and the plot was easy to understand and follow. Good character development.

Thank you Miss Merry for such a lovely review. This discovery was maybe even more of a shock for us kids, because we knew nothing of his past in the Navy. Yet so thankful that God led him to this honor while in this lifetime. Thanks again!
