A good offer on a narrow subject. We who do not live in Northern mountain areas can not begin to understand cool air around the end of school. We are in bathing suits at such a time. But, a good review of life on another side.

This is a great interpretation for the Pix This Club JLR. The two refrain lines work well, giving us a feel for this scene you have described very well.

Nice piece of poetry meeting the desired norms, having impressive phraseology, smooth flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting its theme.
The last stanza is particularly noteworthy.

This brought me back to another time.
Love the imagery, love the rhyming. That -line refrain is the only thing about this school days poem that I didn't care for, thought an original line here would have added to the story.

I do like double kyrielles and you've used this format successfully to meet the club challenge. Your words conjure sweet images of nostalgia - red schoolhouses with young ones playing amidst the trees. Memories of a simpler and more carefree time when we never had to worry about guns or shooters...
