Hi Pookietoo, your poem is a beautiful and fine tribute to your Father.
You were a lucky girl. I especially liked.
He taught us how to get along.
Him and Mom sang a favorite song.
(He taught you two important things. Getting along with other is key in life, and having a song in your heart is another. It gets a person through troubled days.)

I love this poem about your father and think you did a lovely job. I love your rhyming as it seems to be pretty much spot on and especially the love for your father shines through and the memories you have shall keep you until you are together again. Keep writing my dear and don't give up hope. It looks to me like you have won in many contests and that must make you feel proud!

It's important in a human being's life to have loving, upright parents with a firm belief not only for the moral comfort, but always as an example to their that there is hope beyond the rim.
