He sounds like an amazing man - always there, always involved - exactly whY one might hope for. My own dad was the sense of humour at the heart of our family. Whatever was happening, he could be relied upon to raise a smile.

I appreciate your comments, which I consider as a tribute to my father who is still very present in my life. I hope that I emulated his example with my children. Your father seems to have also possessed these unique qualities. Thanks

I am so glad to validate your comments. My children refer to him as a "fun nannu(grandfather}" They miss him even though their contacts were limited by mileage between us. Thank you again.
