A very good recipe but one that seems to be so difficult for many to follow or adhere to, myself included. Reminds me of the old song "Faith, Hope and Charity" or "The Bible Tells Me So" (Dale Evans - 1972)

It's a nice piece of poetry in the form of 'Sonnet' meeting the desired norms, having impressive phraseology, enchanting flow throughout from the beginning to the end with lovely rhyming scheme, and beautifully depicting its theme.
2nd stanza is particularly noteworthy.

You are right, they are hard to follow and true. There is a sweetness in the simplicity of this piece that suits the there well. The second line in the second stanza would scan better with out the word "can" but that is a minor problem.
