A nice description of a father and a daughter's memory of her father. I am sure the author had to choose from tons of memories to be included in this poem. A few moments she wrote from her memory of her father are wonderful, and memorable for the readers as well.

Could I ask you to do me a favor, as I know you are writing much right now and learning new everyday. Some of my poetry has to be read by using the commas as your guide, because when you get it started right you will find that the beat is in perfect rhythm, but it's a fast rhythm poem. S please go try it again and let me know what you think?!?

It's obvious the bond between you was strong and your father knew how important it was to be present as a parent.
I passed all my child and teen hood in boarding schools saw my parents max 2 months a year so I confess I felt a bout of jealousy reading your words.
You father must have been a kind and generous person seeing people from all over came to pay their respect at his funeral.
I m sure that fills your heart with joy despite your great loss.

Tempeste, it's me who is saddened by the years you never had; as every child deserves to have loving parents in their life more than two months a year. I am so sorry that it was that way for you.
