Thank you for sharing this writing prompt entry with us. I, too, was a Daddy's Girl and proud of it. I raised four boys. They were rough, tumble, all boy boys. I have totally enjoyed watching these grown men, melt when it comes to their daughters. All but one is married. The oldest, has one daughter, the next, one daughter, and the third two daughters. His youngest, only two literally melts into his chest. It's so cute.

Thanks so much Barb for your very lovely review and comments. I have enjoyed reviews such as yours who could relate being a daddy's girl. And although you raised these awesome boys you should pat yourself on the back because they cherish your granddaughters and they will most likely be daddy's girls too!

What a beautiful tribute to your dad. I love the way you brought me into your life and introduced me to him.
I was also brought up using the outhouse and having that big pail for the night. Spiders and smells, indeed!

Thank you so much Beck! I was so hoping that someone could relate to these times. Being poor and being the baby girl of 7 kids, I did have a wonderful relationship with my dad. And thank you for your lovely review and words. It is so much fun when someone knows exactly how it was. Lol, he was a good dad, but you should have heard the words that were flying out of his mouth when that pail dropped downstairs.
