I'm starting to catch up on Sinclair and his mission to free himself from Arabella. I love the descriptions of Buggles and Arabella and Sinclair's mission to be rid of them. A good read, Yvonne. Cheers

Hi Yvonne,
At first, I thought that Sinclair was going to fake his death, a drowning possibly in the river. But he's just escaping, his money moved into a secret bank account, under an assumed name. So he's leaving Arabella high and dry. She won't be able to keep the mansion. It will have to be sold, I assume.
I'm wondering, though. Did Buggles see him leave, by any chance. Butlers are so ... on top of things. It will be interesting to find out.
Nicely penned, Yvonne! Looking forward to Chapter 3!
Hugs,
Kimbob

I do hope he was careful. As you know, "The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray." Poor little guy. He deserves to be set free from that evil woman. You certainly have a very vivid imagination, Yvonne. Well Done! Nancy:)

Your story moves along at a great pace, Yvonne. I enjoy reading
each chapter and look forward to the next. Every time I read the
main characters name, I think of the school age song for kids
John Jacob Jingle Hiemer Schmidt--maybe they are cousins.
Sinclair seems to have some obsessive compulsive tendencies.
He is a fun character who leaves readers wondering what he will
do next. I'm thrilled he made his escape for that controlling witch.
Now, hurry and share the next chapter, Jan

Hi Yvonne, I love this story and can't wait to see where you're taking us with this. I found a couple of things.
with earplugs and sleep(ing) mask
it wasn't (the) kind of car he usually drove
would expect (to) see him in.
All best, Ulla:)))

Thanks for catching those. I looked and looked it over, but I always miss something. I appreciate the five in spite of boo-boos.

A great picture of a car that Sinclair Pickens-Smythe planned to use as a get-away-car, damommy. I am believing I see a plan form in his mind. How sad I am that his father died but otherwise there would be no plan. It was great that he thought of his attorney, Silas P. Littleman, who ironically had the first initial as Sinclair and even the 'P'. Arabella was indeed about to get the surprise of surprises. Buggles who really was named Butler was also in for a surprise. I truly like this, Yvonne, it is going together well and I really enjoy this spell binder.

Sinclair has made his escape and his wife is peacefully unaware the she is about to be left with no inheritance if Sinclair manages to get totally away before she wakes up. I'm enjoying your story.

It looks like Sinclair is only a little man himself having to sit on cushion to drive, and I think he's definitely better of without Arabella, very jolly episode and series Yvonne, what a versatile writer you are, blessings Roy

Well written continuation of your story. With an assumed new name, and new bank account, he will be able to start again - but will Arabella keep the house? And will Littleman keep his secret? I like the touches of humour interspersed - eg his need to sit on a pillow to drive properly!
Well written.

Hooray! Sinclair made his getaway! And I wonder what it was that Sinclair told Littleman to do. Certainly, he has run away and will assume a new name and new life away from his miserable one with Arabella.
I like the little bit of physical humor you added to this. It seems Sinclair is also a "little man" himself if he needs a pillow to drive. Hope he can reach the pedals!
