This is a romantic happily ever after story. After the first marriage, you might have been burned on the whole idea. The femme fatale was a nice interlude preparing you for the best choice. This is an ultimately sweet romance.

good story, and neat way you presented it from the different perspectives.
Had to check to see if this is supposed to be fiction. You are true to your info under your picture, you are indeed a story teller and a good one.

I enjoyed your story. It is little sad when things don't work out the way you hoped but both of you found someone else so maybe it did work out after all. Aren't you the one who met you future wife when her cat got in your window or do I have you mixed up with someone else.

I thought for one minute that this was fact, I sort of romance biographical account, but certainly not, I like it, because it could be one of those modernistic things, but one can tell that it is something that happens, I liked the "his" and "hers" excerpts Terry, well done, blessings Roy
Typo ; I could have me(e)t him 2: Moved to a lake resort(,)

This was a twist! Ah, those Femme Fatales!-- I was amused to find that Merriam Webster has two quite different definitions:

"1): a seductive woman who lures men into dangerous or compromising situations
2): a woman who attracts men by an aura of charm and mystery"

Definition one seems to have a direct agenda and would apply, as per your opening presentation, to the situation here. Definition two could be any woman, really~~ Charm and mystery can be lovely attributes if not directed toward married or unavailable men for the purpose of, say, breaking up a marriage!

I like your "attack" on this:

His story vs. Her Story.

It's a nice interplay between what may have motivated each of them. Seems "he" was not truly committed to that long-term marriage, or he would not have been so easily lured. Seems "she" had a pattern of "overlooking" the sacred vows of marriage in the past!

One can only wonder what her past experience had been, that she chose "unavailable men" ~~ who, upon invitation, deemed themselves, well...available!

This is why your conclusion is so satisfactory! "He" realized she may well have been "definition number two" ~ and may not have taken it farther if "he" wasn't so darn willing!

Great read! Happy endings all around! The femme fatale was no more so than "he" was a lothario it seems...

Sometimes God gives us a "course correction." Sometimes, it's all about the hormones!

As for my take?

Glad they both found happiness with time and the right partners!

Karenina

This is an excellent example of how capricious life can be. You meet someone that you kind of get along with, she makes you laugh, the sex is good, she is not hard on the eyes. So, you take the plunge and hope for the best. Soon after the stress of living with a stranger posses the first of many challenges. How well you weather the storms that will appear, will determine the success or failure of the relationship. When someone else enters the picture who is more accommodating, the original relationship is probably doomed at that point. The next may not last forever either, but it could serve to end what was doomed from the beginning. From that standpoint, your story dovetails perfectly with my surmising.

I felt after reading this I was coming off a tilt-a-whirl. Round and round, dizzying experience but as Candy told Charlie Harper what she found in Alan sexually she answered, it may take him a while, but he gets me there.
In conclusion, Charley was the express, but Alan took his time to arrive at the proper destination. IDK why I am telling you this other than your story got to the end rather nicely.

Wow! This story moved at such a fast pace I feel like I've been blown through a wind tunnel. I enjoyed the creative way you moved from one story and point of view to another. I never knew what to expect. I thought the "spaghetti" lady was going to be your wife, but you surprised me. This is a well written and delightful story.

First attempt at romantic 'fiction'? It is well done. I always want more dialogue because i feel as if it allows me to get to know the characters better -- but that is just me. You did a fantastic job of stepping inside the heads of the characters and doing their thinking for them. Great job and I'm looking forward to the next romantic fiction, ann

But I meet him in Dallas. (I think it should be I met him in Dallas)

It is all in the presentation. (My favorite line in the story!! That is life in one sentence.)
