I very much enjoyed this humorous story. I can definitely relate. This past Christmas I ordered what I thought were matching pajamas for my family for Christmas morning. Turns out I ordered dog pajamas. I don't have a dog. At least it was fun for my family to give me a hard time about it for weeks.

This is a well-written and well-told story. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Sam. This time you made me laugh. I think for years to come you will hear about the pajamas.
Thank you for your review and very much for the laugh.

Regardless to what part is true and what part is fiction, this is really funny, especially the last sentence. Many times I purchased the incorrect thing from the store because I read too quickly. Also, I've noticed weeks later that an item was wrong and just kept it. You gave me a nice afternoon chuckle. Thank you.

Mary, a very well-done story! I do have visions of you bringing up potatoes from the cellar, LOL, but the story of how and why you found all these old e-mails is funny and maybe not too much fiction. Good work, Terry.

A virtual six in fellowship of missing the small print! Love the bra in the ginormous size. Sounds like my nursing bra. Anyway, this made me laugh out loud, and for that I thank you! Lord knows I need it. :))

Sending you my best today as always, Mary dear.

Hi there,

yes, it is bizarre how sometimes old things appear at the top and you have to double-check!

Always check out that fine print just to be sure.

All the best

I am guilty of the same thing, I get the wrong end of the stick by not reading the small print, or glossing over the words and think I know their meaning when I don't. I have had a few ordering disasters too. I recently bought a remote for mu Samsung TV thinking one remote fits all TVs, well I found out the hard way that you have to have a remote especially for a specific TV. Is that a manufacturing error is it me not being savvy about TVs? You made me smile here and I enjoyed your entertaining story Mary, love Dolly x

This is a delightful story that exaggeration just makes more amusing. Life does have all these little things that go wrong, especially reading labels. I do have one question: I landed her age . . . Is landed used differently where you are from? This reads like a story from a magazine. It is very well done.

Thank you Carol for your kind words and review.
I use landed as reached a conclusion or a gain. Such as I landed a spot on the team.
It came naturally to me, I never thought it would seem foreign to someone else.

Oh my! I'm guilty of that too and have bought several products on Amazon that needed to be returned like the fax machine I thought was a printer. The pregnancy story is a hoot. Thanks for sharing.

I can see the reason for the cartoon image was more than coincidence, although I think the oldest known expectant mother was in her sixties, sheesh, on would think their body's had had enough by then. Beautifully written Mary, thanks for sharing, blessings Roy
