I pray everyday just for that. I believe America has lost compassion due to our former president. Everyone's hatred is amplified. We need to unite and stop the evil that has become part of America.

Thanks so much, but the president and the laws of God were changed in the president before that one, and many more before that, and this has been bothering me for years. I think about what and why the Constitution was written, praising God as our protector. Then fast forward to now a days, and look how much has been changed. Politicians have told God to get out of everything for so long now, and then people wonder where he is when something goes wrong. And finally some progress to stop the slaughtering of innocent babies, and the democrats call it an injustice and swear to change it back. God promises to harshly judge those who would kill babies or children for any reason. It makes me sad that so many don't see that its not our choice. ..... But I thank you for your very kind review and comments my friend.

This is well written as an acrostic and it relates to repentance which is Biblical. The rules originally mentioned that the word should be from the Bible, but that seems to have changed so your entry should fit the requirements. Best wishes for it.

Thanks Wendy. Actually it was called a Biblical acrostic but the prompt said to write it about faith and to me nothing is more of faith than to ask America to stop telling God to get out, since our constitution had originally invited him in. I do thank you my friend for your lovely review and words.

IMHO the extra space after each capitalized letter is unnecessary and a bit distracting for me.

Since they took the Bible and prayer from schools, things have gone down hill. And the names associated with Christmas. If someone does not believe in God, I feel they do not have the right to intervene with those who believe. If you do not want to go to church, stay home. If you do not want to pray, don't. To each is own. Leave the ones who pray alone. Thank you.

It seems that God's Words mean nothing anymore, and then something wonderful happened yesterday and our governor vowed to not let the overturn of Roe v Wade go through here in MN. I thank you my dear tsotu and I am proud to say it aloud. I appreciate your most kind review and as always lovely words. To have some truly understand how it was back then and fast forward to now is appalling. When I was a kid, I had enough respect for our country and would never have believed our politicians could have completely destroyed what God's Words say. I am one who still gets tears as I stand for our National Anthem, but now for some it just doesn't matter. Sorry for being so strongly opinionated but I pray I never change those views! Thanks again my beautiful friend!
