Your vivid imagery was a joy to read. The silky words flow smoothly down the page. I loved the changing rhyme pattern which you have mastered beautifully.
Well done.

Though your artwork is striking, your words paint a perfect picture, and your rhyme fits with ease and just flows throughout, " Whispers of mist upon the lake" what an excellent first-line setting the reader's mood, very well presented, and best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Your poem is excellent in every respect--very skillfully written, according to a set of strict rules, expressive in its blend of figurative and litral language, and vividly descriptive of how nature ushers day in and out.

Wow! I am super impressed, Melissa, by how easily you handle the challenges of the Quintella, especially your varying rhyme schemes. I also love how you paint a vivid picture for your reader, PUTTING US THERE in this forest as Dawn breaks and we spend time with otters and doves throughout the day. Just beautiful!

This had an almost relaxing effect on me - your imagery is strong but gentle and I love that some of your strongest lines are there to close your stanzas - harmonious togetherness, fog flung to the breeze, and dusky, fading lullabies (what a gorgeous way to close).
I very much enjoyed :-)

I noticed the varied rhyming pattern, it seems similar to my prorhyme tesera, but without the concluding stanza. This is beautifully written Melissa as all your poetry is, well Done, skilfully mastered, blessings Roy

What a gorgeous poem this is. So many beautiful images are present, and your choice of words is outstanding. This is what a poem is supposed to be. I can't help but think it will shine in the contest.

Beautiful! This is a great entry for the contest. Very soothing and serene imagery presented in this poem that highlights the uniqueness of the Quintilla - with the rhythm of a Spanish dance.

Well I for one am wowed
Not only is it a beautiful poem, your meter and rhymes are flawless making for a silky smooth read.
Really love the personification! It brings the reader in to get them more physically involved
My entry is very simular having written a modified Pantygynt Cycle which has a similar formula
You will do very well in the contest!
Take care
