Nicely written. It sounds like you 'like' this person. You were able to show a lot of love in your writing.

The only thing I would criticize is in the first paragraph you have 'was fated' twice. Otherwise, this was a pretty nice read.

This was really sweet. I'm sure that it brought a smile to both your wife's lips and her heart.
I am curious why you wrote in past tense:

I often thought that date was the beginning of my life, with my one and only soul mate.

Instead of:

I often think that date was the beginning of my life, with my one and only soul mate, but it was still very touching. Great job!
