We wait every year for that first bloom. Crocus, daffodils, tulips, they all try to outdo the other. When that first one emerges, we can take a sigh of relief. Summer is on its way.
Very nice.

I am always amazed how these blooms poke through the winter snow and bring spring before snow has had a chance to melt, brave and wonderful scenes depicted here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I do so love to see nature in action, and the first brave sprouts bursting through to announce the approach of Spring are well worth our admiration. You wrote this vibrantly and with subtle personification - I very much enjoyed the read.
