No doubt about it. Birds in the morning are one of the things I always look forward to. Around here it's like an orchestra, it's beautiful.

Ciao poet, you have your first vote!
I wake up to the happy chirping of barn swallows that pass spring and summer here in the north of Italy , then come autumn they set course for the Sahara.
Over the years less return due to pollution, climate change etc.

I?m not crazy there is a war two steps away from my country. I haven?t got money to waste.
Ukraine has become America and Russia s battlefield.
WW3 is a reality.( sigh)
Thanks to sanctions against Russia , this winter we will be in the cold with heavy gas restrictions and there will be harsh food restrictions too.
Italy gets 35% of its gas and 90% of our grain from Russia.
So at times I m not really in the mood for poetry.

That is a beautiful bird, I love the picture. It is so refreshing to look at that picture. And yes, to hear those birds every morning gives you a sense of pure joy. I do not mind them nesting around my home, however, not in my gutters, lol. They seem to nest anywhere they desire. Thank you so much for posting this great story. Have a great weekend.
