Congratulations Lisa May!
Very funny entry winner.
I share your feelings about
the perilous drivers on our
roadways. This is a perfect,
"Not funny, but funny," poem.
Stay safe and blessings. ~

There are many dangers on the road and a good drive can navigate their car among all the bad drivers and still survive without an accident! You made me smile here, a fun post, love Dolly x

The trick is to be able to think and drive with all the aquirement that experience requires, we drive on the left here, the same as in Britain, but driving in Europe tested me, everything was reversed, great rhyming, articulate and a very amusing narrative makes this a good entry, well done, blessings Roy

Excellent entry for the Not funny but funny writing prompt contest. Good rhyming use.

Bad drivers are annoying.

Good luck in the contest.

Boy oh boy, did you hit on all the hot spots or what? I was behind someone on a highway that had just been worked on. The cones were still out but moved to the side. This idiot would veer over to the edge of the road until he hit the cone then quickly jump back in his own lane only to do it again with the next cone, and the next, and the next.

I might be the ass in this one and maybe I should have stayed home, but I called the police on the idiot, and I hope he got a real driving lesson.

Good rant on a hot topic.

A fitting view of what happens on the road. It has become such a hazard to be driving. The poem is funny and flowed well. Good length. Be safe out there!

Oh, well, at least NOT moving as soon as the light turns green won't--shouldn't--result in death! I'll go ahead and call this a masterpiece!
It has it all. It's skillfully written with great meter and rhyming and vividly descriptive examples of drivers whose licenses should be cut into tiny pieces.

Now this work has everything the challenge expected. It could go far and have you see stars even more than five of which I shall start with six. I concur if I could beam to where I want to go I'd hiredScotty as my officer

Lol! I like that the narrator actually considers that his/her own driving might also be bad as the crazies out there. Humorous and humble look at a dangerous problem. Best wishes in the contest!

Love this one! Everything you say is relevant and true about other drivers - and also what you say about the driver herself. That's me, thinking my thoughts instead of going when the light is green. An excellent entry, filled with humour as well as excellent rhyme. Funny, but not funny. Perfect. I hope it wins!
