I wonder where Sinclair could be? Did he change his name, too? He could be anywhere in the world. But he's a generous man. He left Arabella enough money to go on for about two years. Some men, I'm sure, would have moved it all into a secret bank account. I wonder if the detective will find out anything? He sympathizes with him, so Arabella might not get any leads. Actually, as I think about it, the detective could blackmail Sinclair if he finds him. An easy million dollars for not exposing him. But where to start???

Hello Damommy a good day to you, I hope all is well. I enjoyed your story, I can't imagine how bad this woman must have been to have to fake your own death just to get away.....I'd rather be single and lonely for the rest of my days. I look forward to the next chapter.

Hopefully, Sinclair is far far away by now and will be able
to start a life he deserves. As for Arabella, she is living what
she deserves and has for a long time. She is a miserable
person who gets joy from making others miserable. You
did a great job with the descriptions of everything happening.
I could see the search for Sinclair, the pity party Arabella was
throwing for herself, and the way others in the community
felt about Sinclair. I like the way the help even found a way to
dish out some of their feelings to Arabella. The cooking scenes
were telling. I look forward to reading the next chapter.

This story flowed smoothly and had a ring of truth to it. How true it is that the lack of money or its abundance brings out one's true nature. My only suggestion would be to explain who Littleman is when she meets him in his office. Enjoyed this chapter.

She sounds like she deserves her fate, and just makes everyone's life a misery, and no wonder he left! Well written with little bits of subtle humour (keeping the best food for themselves, and "a stick in a dress"! looking forward to more.

Well, it seems everyone is actually on Sinclair's side. He could have enlisted any number of the people to help him in his escape but he probably didn't want to get them in trouble with Arabella.

Sinclair had made a clean get-away leaving few clues. Arabella is embarrassed that she is left with so little. Even the detective hired to find the man can't blame him from leaving her. I'm enjoying the story.

I'm so glad. I'm not very good at prose, but I'm giving it a try. I've been of FS for about a week because I got hacked! Scared me half to death. Just go the computer back from Geek Squad.
