I am so sorry for what you have endures but I'm also happy you have survived and know where your strength comes from. I especially liked the following lines:
I am free now. I have finally found peace and happiness. The Lord has provided for me and answered my prayers.

SO many times, life doles out unfair challenges, made worse when the perpetrator is someone we loved!
I'm rejoicing with you that you overcame the hurdles.
Your final line is the most freeing for you!

We have much in common. Except my husband died. While he was alive, I wished for many things. A new house, a new car--etc. A few years after he died, I was able to buy those things I always wanted. However, I do not enjoy any of the things I have because my husband is not here to share them. I hate to hear about your husband.
Karma is a bitch, excuse my language. He will get what he deserved. And I am happy for you. Bless you.

Thank you Roy and blessings to you. God is indeed my Lord and Savior and I have put all my trust in him and he has guided me and not ever let me down. He gave me strength when I needed it and has blessed me with the retirement home of my dreams now. In five years I will be able to retire. I?m looking forward to that. It?s so beautiful here.

This poem, A New Beginning, is a good way to affirm that you are ready to start anew and put the past behind you. I, on the other hand, would pay someone to keep him alive on a spit over a fire for as long as possible.

Lol. Believe me. There we?re times when my thoughts towards him were not so generous. One day I realized though that all that anger was really just hurting me not him. He had moved on and I needed to also. The Lord helped me forgive him and do that. I have no respect for him anymore but I have stopped hating him. It was only hurting me. Thanks for the great review!
