This is lovely story with an old-world feel. You've given the feel of a space, the smells, the look, and the textures lending a great deal of authenticity to your writing.

A beautifully crafted story. The author has treated us to the buttery scent of nostalgia, of being in good company and stoked, as well, our memories as to the way it was.

I love this piece celebrating screen artists and its powerful images of movie theatres and motion pictures.

Very enjoyable story.

I love this story! The imagery is outstanding and I can smell the smell of an old theater. I've been there and it was pleasant to make the trip again with you. Great contest entry. ann

I had to give this a six! So well deserved! You have touched all of my movie senses in this piece and my heart. What a beautifully well-written story. I could see her too, as you described. Perhaps she was there. Touching, Rosita. Best, JohnC.

This is gorgeous - a beautiful dedication not just to a remembered person but to an era when things were - not simpler as such - but perhaps more romantic. I very much enjoyed.

Hey thank you for reading. When I decided to enter the contest I thought 250 was a lot. But nope. Had to condense. Thank you for your feedback.

A ghostly write and I loved the old cinemas and I miss them. I have spent hours during my youth and growing up in cinemas and they are a place of sanctuary where you are entertained in the dark and taken to brave new worlds, I was with you on this journey and we are never alone, love Dolly x

This piece remembering your departed loved one while at the theater is very sweet and loving. It was a good 250-word piece. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
