Great interview! I'm in awe of Lee. I read all of his work and comment rarely ~ he is so far ahead of me I fear I'd make a fool of myself (even more than usual, she said smiling...)
Thanks for reposting this, Terry. I've no clue how I missed if the first time around but I'm happy to have this opportunity to say Humpwhistle is a treasure on FanStory and I hope he never leaves...

And here I sit with only fives to render. This capture of Lee's Fanstory story and his extended history is totally entertaining as is the author. His departure from Fanstory will be like David Lee Roth leaving Van Halen. They marched on, but with a limp.

I was drawn to this because of the interesting name The Humpwhistle Interview...
So I began reading your nice and long interview...I enjoyed the back and forth banter ...

I guess I'll sit around and wait to be discovered. I think I need to pack lots of sandwiches.
All in all this was quite enjoyable...

This is an interesting interview, and it sounds like Lee Hill was a definite high-level contributor for years here. He certainly had high goals with specific things in mind, with writing a story each month that he thought could be in the running for story of the month. Nice share.

Even though the promotional time has lapsed, I found this interview helpful for me. I never realized I didn't have the whole story in my head. Just write. There is tons of ideas that go through my head, but I let it go if I can't expand on it right away. Great questions! Thank you.
