What a familiar lament. You have the timing and sequence of events down to a tee. Happens just like that here in Michigan. You just never know when or if Spring will ever get there. I love your very last line. With a little imagination one can decipher what you REALLY mean.
Great rhyming, easy to read, the verses literally bounce along and flip right off my tongue. Very nicely done.

I guess that also makes us almost neighbors and share those beautiful Great Lakes. I do like my happier poems and to find a way to laugh at those things that don't seem so important.after all. Thanks for all you kind words and for having a little fun w me.

John, you always know how to review one of my poems, just when I need a little pick me up. And as the drs just left my hospital room and said I may not be able to go home this week as planned, there you are! Your sweet and fun comments have made my night! Sandra, I just love you more everyday! Thank you for your lovely review and your comments mean a lot to me. I might be getting to go home tomorrow or Friday with home health care and PT. I am so excited as its been a long two weeks, but I felt those prayers and my heart is so full for you and others said for me. Drs actually said that they thought I wouldn't make it when my vitals and blood crashed. But I told them that I had lots of prayers so I wasn't surprised. Thank you again my beautiful friend!

Hey Sweetie, that's where I'm from. Minnesnowta. Where are you from? I live in Maple Lake, near Buffalo. In fact the Allina Clinic that was shot up last year was where I go. I wrote a poem about it on the second page of my portfolio. It's called Deadly Shooting at Allina Clinic. Small world on a world wide sight to find so many lately from our state........

They are saying that I may be able to go home Thursday or Friday, and they'll be sending PT & home healthcare to continue drawing labs every couple days. It will feel good to see my grandkids again. Ouch! I guess you are tired of the cold weather and how it refuses to move on. I would advise old man winter to not only pack up his gear and get the heck on out of here. If he allows any more snowflake falls, he may be endangering his precious wintry snowballs

Hehe! Did I shock you dear brother? You know how much I love to end my humerus poems with a little surprise, but I guess I showed my naughty side on this one. It's great to hear from you, as this hospital is getting a little old, but happy to report they may be releasing me as soon as Thursday or Friday, w home health care coming into draw the daily labs & do vitals, etc..
I loved your fun review Nomi as I can actually hear my terrific friend say those words with a cute grin on your face!

I don't think I mentioned this as things have been foggy since my scary ordeal, but I want to thank you for the most beautiful things that you wrote about me on Margaret's Prayer for me. I started crying tears of joy, happiness, and felt so honored by it. So I copied and pasted it on my special folder in notes titled My Nomi. Then sometimes when I'm down, I open the folder and read and always feel so honored and proud. Here come the tears again, so I must pull myself together cause PT is coming and I don't want them to change their mind about letting me go home later this week. I love you too my very special and precious friend. More than you could possibly know.
I am copying this awesome last note from you to your folder as well. 😘❤️🤗
