I just bought recently my second computer and I transferred my 3 Avast subscriptions yet I keep on getting publicity offers from Norton, they just appear on top of the screen when I'm doing a research warning me that most probably I'm being tracked etc ..I start worrying and the fun is over.
I have trouble with grammarly too.. it tells me a certain word is misspelled but when I press the correct spelling offered it doesn't work.
My nine-year-old computer crashed often and I would get a warning to ring a certain number or all my personal data would be at risk. I was so scared when it happened the first time, I shut down the computer and when I reopened it was all okay. So I think the warning and phone number were bait.
The government wants us to pay most of our stuff online yet I always feel uncomfortable because of the daily warnings I get from Norton.
I'm old school. I just like to go to the post office get cash out and pay my bills...all this digital is complicated. I feel like a fish out of water.

yeah I feel like an old curmudgeon at times. I send my complaints to Microsoft but they never acknowledge them. the site where you can see your complaints is always down too. I don't think anyone monitors the complaint box. or if they do they don't care.

I can identify with these problems! My computer defaults to spanish and certain documents keep defaulting to American spelling! It drives us completely nuts and I feel your frustrations here Jake, a fine poem for the contest, I wish we understood computers, but they just have minds of their own, love Dolly x

That they do. I have written a lot of computer blues poems which i sent to Microsoft. They never respond. Probably I am on their crank customer list. Maybe that is why my computer acts up? LOL

thanks. Overseas I have a lot of Norton issues as it seems to think anything outside the US is malware. We finally had to set up an old computer loaded with Korean software to do what we need to do locally.
