This is such a heartfelt poem, Debi! We need to remember to say these things...to write them down and not put them off until tomorrow...
We, none of us, know what tomorrow brings!
I am so delighted Jason overcame his asthma and has become the man he has!
One look at him, arms around his boys and I can see he's all you say and more!
I hope you've copied this and presented it to him!

Thanks so much Roy! I teasingly told one of my grandsons one day, right in front of his dad that he was my reward for raising his dad and not giving him away They both just laughed. But truthfully it is so great to look back and see that you made it to this point without anything truly serious and they became the Adult Christians you prayed for. .... A beautiful poem for your son. It would be special to give this to him. I like you started it off as a letter to him. The rhyme scheme works well. The photo of him and his kids fits perfectly. I like the cursive writing font because it appears more personal. However, it needs to be a bit larger. Good luck in the contest.

I truly appreciate your kind words. Throughout the years, I wrote poems for everyone in my family. (husband, children, their spouses, grandkids, siblings, w some prayer poems) Then made my biggest bucket list item, a 12x12 book, giving each w two large pages w their poem and pictures. The cover said Our Greatest Blessings are called Family w family photo on it. Then ordered for everyone for Christmas. What a glorious feeling that was! Thanks again my dear friend!

Oh Darelle, I have to add this beautiful review to my folder of my favorite reviews. I wish I had one more review nomination left because you certainly deserve it. I am still having some rough days as I am finally home from the hospital, but have therapy and HHC everyday. So it's been a struggle. The reason I bring this up is because your review added some much needed sunshine to my day as there is nothing like kindness to make a person feel better. My lovely friend it means more than you could possibly know. Thank you for the gracious six stars too, as they are the icing on the cake. Awe thanks Tom, and who am I to argue with a man of such brilliant knowledge? Actually he is the only one who took after me with his blonde hair and probably the most compassionate between him and my 2 girls.
