This is lovely, telling us lots about your son and the wider family you've grown. I love your ending thoughts- the beginning of life to the end of life. That's family, indeed, and it's fundamental to everything.

What a wonderful tribute to your son - he sounds like a fantastic young man. I understand about the asthma (same with my son), and I could echo most of your words for my son, except that mine has three beautiful daughters. Beautifully expressed.

Thanks Wendy! Knowing the kind of woman you are it doesn't surprise me that you are a wonderful mom. I'm sure you understand about trips to ER and very scary moments. Sally, surely you would want to join the loved ones contest too then?
I would absolutely love seeing more of my friend's families. I wrote this one a few years ago as I made a very special book for everyone in my family. Kids, grandkids, our kids spouses, my siblings and they each got 2 pages for their poem and pictures that I picked especially for them made a12X12 book with them all in and when it was done gave each one for Christmas. And with that bucket list item done I got bored and came to FS . Pretty spendy but my husband knew how important it was to me, so he didn't care.They turned out great and even my two sons in-law had tears of emotions over it.. Sorry for babbling on and on, but it's so rewarding. Thanks so much my lovely friend for.reviewing my Jason and I hope you liked it.
