Hi Heather,
This short story is of a smart and caring girl. She knows her villages water is bad and carries illness and plans to do something about it. We, too, must think of ways to get safe clear water to those who don't have it.

That was incredibly nice of them. You're right, there are lots of wonderful charities. It makes me sad to think so many people believe they aren't legit just because some members have taken advantage of their position. I'm sure they are a minority.

I meant that, as the video says, there are lots of people who don't believe in charities and that makes me sad.

Ah, perhaps because of the tactics of some bad organizations which keep most of the money instead of giving it. It helps to have a real personal experience like the man in the video.

Exactly. But I hate the fact that those few organisations make people mistrust the ones that just want to do something good.
It's like when somebody hates the church because some priests have done unspeakable things, but what about all the good ones?
I think we're becoming quite cynical.
