It is. Seeing them looking so happy when a new well starts working must make all those volunteers feel as they had achieved something really worthwhile.
    Thanks for reading, Roy.

Good luck wishes regarding the contest, Heather. The picture of the young girl holding two glasses of water, one very clear and one yellow with crude. I enjoyed your words because they spoke the truth. We have so much but never think to freely give something as important as water. I enjoyed the video. Very well done. Thank you so much for reminding me...

I enjoyed the video too, some of the stories made me cry.
A long time ago, I told a Nigerian friend I felt guilty when I compared myself to other Nigerians in our parish who have nothing at all. My friend simply smiled and said, 'Don't worry. You have your own problems. But then again he's one of the most wonderful people I've ever met.
    Thanks for reading.

That is so true, Heather, for us we feel blessed but we do have our own problems. You are so welcome.

Indeed, so many people live in places where things we consider normal and standard are simply not available. It brings home what a land of plenty some of us live in without considering it.

So true. We get distracted by our hectic lives and our own problems and we don't realise how lucky we are to live in the Western world.
    Thanks for reading.

I've heard/read about the charity you referenced in your
contest entry, Heather. You did a great job with it. I enjoyed
reading it, though it was poignant. We are so accustomed
to having good water and enough of it we sometimes forget
others don't have this luxury.
Thank you for sharing and best wishes in the contest, Jan

This was an excellent (though upsetting) story. It makes the reader hope things will improve for your characters. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Thank YOU for reading. It's a sad story, but after seeing the documentary and the founder's optimism and strength I want to believe there will be a happy ending.
