A beautiful rictameter own for the contest. Orchids are such beautiful flowers with amazing colors. Thank you for your authors notes which was a nice reminder of the various parts of the orchid.

Nicely done rictameter poem. It uses metaphor, personification, and alliteration to give a strong image of a lily. Nice choice of artwork.

This is a very lovely theme for your well-presented Rictameter. Your count is perfect, and the left alignment seems to work beautifully, in this script-like font. Not sure why "Sepals" is capitalized? My thought was perhaps to balance the capital "S" in the first and last word "Splendid?"

Karenina, Sepals is the scientific spelling for this part of the Orchid flower.

Ah! Thanks for that info... Oxford Dictionary lists it as a noun...
I'm not up on scientific spelling!

This had a nice, sensual feel to it, and the images just leapt off the page. It was colorful, there were these soft textures and shapes of flower petals, very erotic, reminiscent of Georgia O'Keefe and her flower petal paintings. estory
